Other Activities  -  Some Probus Clubs members enjoy the activities and friendships afforded by other diverse clubs and organisations.  These include walking groups, movies, bus trips, motor car racing, sports, photography, theatre and other interests.  Therefore, it may not be necessary for this Probus Club to offer duplicate activities to those available elsewhere.  We are, however, always open to suggestions for alternative activities that our members can enjoy within our club.  These can be for large groups or simply small gatherings of like-minded individuals.  Whatever you wish to participate in, it should be for your benefit and enjoyment so some activities may only be found in other venues.

Anzac Dayat Forest Lake 2024

While the woke folk might like to think that Anzac Day should be abolished, an estimated 300 people attended the ceremony at Forest Lake with many of these younger people.  This shows the support that many have for the remembrance of those folk (service and non-service) who have died in support of their country and fellow country men and women.  It’s important to remember those who have served in the various services, including the emergency services, Lest We forget.  Our member, Warren Alloway, (such a handsome chap) laid a wreath on behalf of our Probus Club.
